Tester with Active MBI

We are looking for a Tester with an Active MBI to provide a unified system that is integrated into the IRS’s modernized Infrastructure for the detection of fraudulent returns and refund fraud schemes to ensure timely issuance of refunds and credits that are legally due to filers, while preventing issuance of refunds and credits that are not legally due to filers. 
 
Duties:  The RRP Tester is responsible for participating in all test activities for RRP Releases.  Duties include:
Job Duty 1– Support system test execution in development, test, and production environments for each build, and release in the development lifecycle
Job Duty 2– Support the design and development of a test strategy to perform environment and system integration validation; including ETL using Informatica, Java Data Access, SAS, FICO Blaze, BOE, and web services technology
Job Duty 3 - Collaborate with test team to complete testing activities; Provide test status to test manager
Job Duty 4– Participate in the completion of deliverables to ensure on-time submission
 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
 
Please note these are the top technical skills that the Buyer feels a candidate MUST have. General knowledge of basic office software such as MS Office Suite as well as good communications skills are a given.   
  • 6+ years of hands on experience testing using  SQL
  • 6 years of experience with whole cycle of system testing  from test planning, test preparation, and test execution
  • 3 years of experience with Rational Tool Suite experience including ReqPro and ClearQuest
  • 2+ years hands-on testing experience with Informatica, SAS and FICO Blaze
  • 1 year of familiarity and/or project experience with Advanced Analytics and Modeling technology
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Active IRS MBI

  • Prior IRS experience
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
