Transformation Advisors Group (TAA) is actively seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Component-level Program Analyst in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Language Regional Expertise and Culture (LREC) Academic Support Services Task Order.

Required Education:  Bachelor’s Degree – any field
Travel Required:  Yes – up to two weeks per month may be required
Required Clearance:  Top Secret
Required Experience:  The Component-level Program Analyst shall have command or staff experience in a SOF organization at the O6 or higher command-level; experience developing or modifying policy to achieve specific personnel improvements; developing and presenting information and courses of action to decision makers; and assessing resources, processes and developing courses of action to optimize results.
Job Description:  The Component-level Program Analyst will apply expert level SOF and Service training, policy, readiness, and personnel management expertise in order to support tracking program progress, developing process improvements, assisting improvement implementation, and measuring effectiveness of organizational command LREC program changes. 
The Component-level Program Analyst shall provide senior level lead analysis support for Language Regional Expertise and Cultural (LREC) education projects by conducting regulatory research, site visits, performing sampling and analysis, generating technical reports, performing technical adequacy document reviews, and other technical support tasks directly for a 2-star or higher level SOF command.  Review existing, new, or proposed LREC education and training policy for understanding and application to organizational LREC programs and produce associated assessments and impact statements.
The Component-level Program Analyst shall manage, synchronize, and coordinate all activities to ensure maximum participation of each training activity. The Component-level Program Analyst shall evaluate progress toward meeting the organization's goals and provide recommendations as required for adjustments in objectives, work plans, schedules, and resources. The Component-level Program Analyst shall provide support to the Government Language Program Managers. The Component-level Program Analyst shall assist the Government Language Program Manager with special projects and programs requiring complicated or exceptionally challenging coordination.
Tasks include:
  • Draft and review documentation
  • Provide corrections to personnel
  • Review corrected draft in final format for signature
The Component-level Program Analyst shall compile data as required, prepare reports, and create presentations. The Component-level Program Analyst shall be proficient with data entry and database maintenance, MS Office applications, and local area networks.
The Component-level Program Analyst shall work with a team of consultants and clients to support the LREC objectives:
  • Interact with senior organizational staff and members from US Special Operations Command, (USSOCOM), and various organizations, firms, industry, and government communities involved with LREC.
  • Support the achievement of project goals, objectives, and milestones and contribute functional expertise to the management of client deliverables.
  • Provide expertise gained from previous consulting experience on requirement analysis, data analysis, process improvement, and performance measures.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to promote understanding of enterprise data, potential quality issues, and required measurements.
  • Organize and facilitate data workshops and technical interchange meetings with representation from multiple teams and subject matter experts.
  • Document and validate enterprise data elements and support the adjudication of governed data.
  • Additionally, make recommendations for master data management, operational data quality measurements and metrics, and data quality thresholds based on analysis and understanding of stakeholder needs.
The Component-level Program Analyst will provide senior level lead analysis support directly for the US 1st SFC Command Language Program Manager. Support shall consist of, but is not limited to, the following general responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze LREC education and training regulations for understanding and application to 1st SFC LREC programs
  • Collaborate with senior staff members from USSOCOM and USASOC, as well as industry and government communities, on functional and technical teams to promote understanding of enterprise data, potential quality issues, and required measurements with regard to LREC programs
  • Organize and facilitate data workshops and technical interchange meetings with representation from multiple teams and subject matter experts
  • The Contractor shall support the Government in the management, synchronization, and coordination of all activities to ensure maximum participation of each training activity
  • The Contractor shall evaluate progress toward meeting the organization's goals and provide recommendations as required for adjustments in objectives, work plans, schedules, and commitment of resources
  • The Contractor shall draft and review documentation, provide corrections to documentation, and review corrected draft in final format for signature.  The Contractor shall compile data as required, prepare reports, and create presentations suitable for senior audiences (military grades O6 to O9)
  • The contractor shall be proficient with data entry and database maintenance, MS Office applications, and local area networks
  • Up to two weeks of travel per month may be required.  Will be required to maintain telephone and email contact during travel
