Enterprise Management of end user devices and application delivery (Microsoft SCCM, SCOM)(Enterprise Management (SCCM)Architect)
The CSPs shall design, architect and document underpinning infrastructure supporting central management and administration of the desktop model that leverages existing tools, including but not necessarily limited to SCCM 2012 and SCOM 2012.
The CSPs shall design, architect, document and assist in engineering desktop inventory and compliance reporting in support of configuration drift containment strategy and IAs compliance and vulnerability mitigation effort.
The CSPs shall design, architect, and assist the engineering of proposed software asset and license management capability that leverages SCCM 2012 and mJAD structure and meets DHA’s license compliance reporting needs. This effort will consist of establishing package creation and naming conventions and standards as well as design of data harvesting for transformation and importation into DHA’s identified license management and reporting system, currently identified as BMC’s ITSM Remedy, but could be subject to change.
The CSPs shall define and assist in engineering standards for software package creation, optimization and fielding suitable to meet the global and dynamic needs of DHA with strong reliance on Microsoft’s SCCM and associated product suites for end-user or server device targets using features available within SCCM 2012. All packages will be designed with respect to distributed distribution points, and bandwidth considerations.
The CSPs shall review inbound service and project requests and provide recommendations and options for use of Application Management and software package delivery services where opportunities exist to save money, improve availability or ease administrative burden in meeting customer needs for ongoing support of their software-based mission needs.
